What Tarabar is

Tarabar is a platform that connects cargo owners with transport companies. The contract of carriage is between the cargo owner and the transport company; Tarabar is not a party to it.

Tarabar is not responsible for either party performing its obligations, for the quality of the transport, for damage to cargo, or for late delivery.

Your account

The details you enter at sign-up must be accurate and current. Keeping your password safe, and everything done with your account, is your responsibility.

Transport companies cannot post quotes until their documents have been reviewed and approved. An administrator may block an account for false information or misuse.

Quotes and bookings

A posted price is valid until the date the transport company states. Prices marked “estimate” are not firm and may change.

Rates marked “indicative — from tariff” are computed from the company’s own published tariff and have not yet been reviewed by that company.

Selecting a quote creates a booking *request*. The shipment is created only once the transport company confirms it.

Content and documents

Whoever enters the cargo details, uploads the documents and is responsible for complying with export, import and transit law is the user who posted them.

Uploading prohibited goods or forged documents is a violation and results in the account being blocked.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. Continuing to use the platform after a new version is published means accepting it.
